Editorial Policy

We write every description and guide ourselves. A product gets a short, plain name, because a title of two hundred characters serves a search box, not a person measuring a dog's neck.

A specification says what the product is: its size, its material, what it fits and what comes in the box. We do not round a figure up, and we say plainly what a product will not do.

For food safety we go to the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service. Where a guide compares our products with another kind, we quote a company that makes that kind and link to its page.
