Who the drawstring snuffle mat suits

A good fit when

A bowl of kibble is gone in a minute. Scatter the same kibble in this mat and your dog has to find each piece by nose, which takes far longer and tires the dog in a good way.

The mat is 17 inches across when flat. Pull the drawstring and it closes into a bowl with deeper folds. Tie the string to a chair leg and the mat stays put. It is felt, and it goes in the washing machine.

Know before you buy

Felt is not chew-proof. A dog that chews will tear it, so stay in the room.
The black plastic toggles on the drawstring are small. Do not let your dog eat them.
Wash it once before the first use: it comes folded flat and opens up after a wash.

If you have a very fast eater, this is a great way to get them to slow down and make it more of a challenge. We have purchased multiple slow feeders and this is by far the best. It’s a little larger than we thought for our 6 pound dog, however would definitely recommend and would purchase again.

This snuffle mat was easy to use. I wish it had a little more durability on the “petals”. I also left fit lm the floor and she chewed it up very quickly so make sure you pick it up. I have a one year old pug.
