Who the open litter box suits
A good fit when
Some cats want to see the room while they dig. This box has no lid: high sides keep the litter in, and a 10.5-inch entrance with a side-opening door lets the cat step in instead of jump.
The XL size measures 23 x 14.5 x 10 inches and suits cats under 18 lb. Two versions come with a honeycomb mat: a large 19.6 x 11.8 x 11.4 inch box for small and medium cats, and an XL 23.6 x 15.7 x 11.4 inch box.
Know before you buy
- An open box does not hide the litter or the smell the way a covered one does.
- The 10-inch sides stop most scatter, not all of it. A cat that sprays high needs a covered box.
- The large version is for small and medium cats only.

Love this! After we moved our younger cat was scared, his first time so he inevitably ended up peeing in the corner of our bathroom. Tried a few tricks, but after it didnt stop I decided to try and new box and he has been using this ever since. Highly recommend if you want a low barrier box, and the stainless helps prevent the odors from sticking around like plastic does.
