Who the check cord suits
A good fit when
A check cord is meant to drag. The dog works ahead of you, the rope trails behind, and you step on it or pick it up when you need to. A handle would catch on every root, so this cord has none.
It is the same 0.3-inch floating rope as our long leash, 32 feet of it, with a metal clasp that turns all the way round. The plain end ties round a tree when you want both hands free.
Know before you buy
- With no handle the cord is harder to hold when a dog pulls. For walking, take a leash with a handle.
- It is for small and medium dogs.
- It comes in one length, 32 ft.

This long floating check cord/leash is great for that young pup of yours who you are trying to train. whether it be to get him/her to go into the water for a swim or to get him/her trained on sit and stay. This check cord is great for the money.

I bought this so I can have my puppy roam the yard without getting loose. She’s very smal and will fit through my fence, now she can run around the yard and play without getting out. I like that it’s round, durable and sturdy. You can cut it down if needed.Does the job for sure.
