Is it the right one?
Who the floating long leash suits
A good fit when
Recall is taught at a distance, and a six-foot leash gives the dog no distance at all. This line gives 20 or 32 feet while you still hold the other end.
The rope is polypropylene: it takes in no water, floats on a lake and stays light on the dog's collar. The handle is padded, and the metal clasp turns all the way round so the line does not twist. There is a two-pack of the 32 ft line in orange.
Know before you buy
- It is made for small and medium dogs. It is not the leash for an extra large dog.
- It is not chew-proof. A dog left alone with the rope will bite through it.
- Rope burns bare hands when a dog bolts. Wear gloves for the first sessions or let the handle do the work.
Twenty feet of freedom, one hand on the end

I ordered a different long leash and returned it because with the length, it was too heavy for my 15 pound dog. This one is perfect for doing recall work and for use around water because it floats. I like the bright orange color which makes it stand out in grassy areas so I know where it is. I also like the padded handle.

Good price, good quality , works well on water and land, strong leash (dog 35lbs), love handle: soft on hands. Leash is used all the time so dog can get some run time. Love it! Like color too!
